- Log in to the website admin (https://www.highlandlakescaninerescue.org/wp-admin/)
- Navigate to the Portfolio section
- Click Add New (At the top of the page)
- Add Dog’s name as the title at the top
- Click Fusion Builder
- Click the Library Button in the Dark Grey bar
- Hover “Available Dogs Temp 2” load button
- Select “Replace all page content”
- The second container has the slide show for the dog’s pics, hover over it and select the edit button.
- Delete any existing images in there
- Click the select images button
- Select “Upload files” on the top left corner of the page
- Click “Select Files” and navigate to the location on your computer that has the images for the slide show (you can select multiple images)
- Once they have finished uploading, click “Insert into post” at the bottom right hand corner of the page
- Click Save
- The 3rd container has the profile verbiage, Hover over this section and click the edit icon. Leave the existing content and edit for the new dog. I usually do the line by line to keep the formatting of the section
- Below this section (a little scroll might be needed to see it) Hover over this section and click the edit icon. This is the main blurb, same procedure here, Change the name to the new dog’s name and cut and paste the new content into the area which the old content is
- On the right side of the screen is the area for the featured image of the new available dog. Click on the “Set featured image” and upload or select your featured image.
- Scroll down past the last line separator and the list of past edits to “Excerpt”. Go to a previously posted dog and copy and paste and copy the coded line there, then change the dog’s name to dog’s name in all caps
- On the right side of the screen there is a box labeled “Portfolio Categories”. Check the box “Available Dog”.
- Click publish

- Click on the “Events” tab on the left hand page of the Admin.
- Click on the “Add New” button directly under the “Events” button.
- Type in the Title of the Event in the Title field.
- Type in the specifics of the event in the main area just below the title field.
- Enter in the dates of the event.
- Add a featured image.

- Click on the “Posts” tab on the left-hand page of the Admin.
- Click on the “Add New” button under the “All Posts” button.
- Type in the Title of the Blog post in the Title field.
- Type in the specifics of the event in the main area just below the title field.
- Add a featured image.
